Position Description

  • Purchasing Trainee is responsible for supporting the Macrofab’s purchasing team operation in Mexico and the US. The Purchasing Trainee will be monitoring the purchase orders, confirm delivery dates from supplier and follow up material arrivals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Confirms delivery dates for the Purchase Orders in Macrofab’s Platform.
  • Monitors material’s arrivals according.
  • Expedite orders to meet procurement and supplier management objectives.
  • Notifies Program Management of material situation that may affect the attainment of production plan.
  • Provides status for shortages.
  • Review and execution of RMA transactions.

The ideal Candidate

  • Analytical: research, collects and synthesizes data to offer proper solutions.
  • Supply Chain Fundamentals: understand the supply chain and logistics system of organizations.

Education and experience

  • BA or BS.
  • English oral and written.
  • Experience as buyer in Manufacturing Industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge in Purchasing.
